Speech Intelligibility Testing

We provide speech intelligibility testing for Emergency Warning and Intercommunication Systems (EWIS/EWS), including EWIS speech intelligibility assessment and STI testing (speech transmission index), helping you understand how your system performs in practice.

We help owners and managers of stadiums, shopping centres, hospitals, universities, transport hubs and other public buildings.

We also work with fire services contractors and building services consultants seeking independent verification.

From 13 February 2026, all Class 1b and Class 2 to Class 9 buildings in NSW must have essential fire safety measures inspected and tested in accordance with AS 1851-2012.

Building owners are responsible for demonstrating compliance, with significant penalties for non-compliance, including fines of up to $33,000 for individuals and $66,000 for corporations.
